About Umenomiya-Taisya shrine
This shrine was established around the year 750. It is revered for blessings related to sake brewing, as well as for conceiving children and safe childbirth.
It is said that stepping over the stone located beside the main hall will bring the blessing of a child. (You must receive a prayer ritual in order to step over it.)
A variety of flowers bloom in the garden within the shrine grounds throughout the seasons.
