Introduction to Ryosokuin temple
Ryosokuin is a sub-temple of Kenninji Temple, founded in 1358. There is a beautiful Japanese garden, which is visited by many worshippers during the open season.

Spending time relaxing while looking at the garden is truly luxurious.

Near the entrance to the temple there is a hall dedicated to Bishamonten (Vaisravana). There are tiger statues in front of the hall and on the incense burner. Tigers are said to be messengers of Bishamonten(Vaisravana).
