Shukubo (temple stay)
This is an old temple founded in 727. This temple is famous as a temple for luck in battle, as famous warriors such as the Genji Ashikaga families prayed for victory here. The winning daruma talisman is popular as a symbol of untiring spirit “to win over one’s weakness.” It is located inside Mino National Park and is surrounded by rich natural scenery.
This shukubo is utilized by many people as lodging where they can reflect upon themselves and purify the mind in quietness away from urban hustle and bustle. With good facilities, this shukubo certainly offers you a relaxing and comfortable stay.
