Shukubo (temple stay)
This is a temple whose principal image is the Kannon (Avalokitesvara).
Shukubo is limited to one group per day and can be rented exclusively for your stay. There is a kitchen, a washing machine and a dryer. There is also an open-air bath where you can enjoy a view of the garden. You can experience temple activities such as religious services, copying sutras, copying Buddha images, meditation, and yoga.
The Jizo-son (Ksitigarbha) festival is held on the 24th of every month. The approach to the temple and within the grounds are lined with local shops, and the area is always bustling with people.
