Shukubo (temple stay)
Mt. Shichimen is a sacred mountain with an altitude of 1,982 meters. Keishin-in Temple is located in this mountain.
It is a place of training and meat and fish are not allowed to be eaten. The food was very simple, but we were allowed to have seconds of rice.
Lights out at nine o’clock and wake up at sunrise, around 5:00 to 5:30. The room is large and we all sleep together.
Guests staying at the shukubo are required to attend morning and evening services.
It is also known as a famous spot to view Mt. Fuji and the sunrise.
