Shukubo (temple stay)
Kanbara is located along the road leading to the Chusha Shrine of Togakushi Shrine. It is a wooden building with a thatched roof that was built in 1900. Limited to one group per day.
Guest rooms were very spacious, well-cleaned and comfortable. Yukata robes and toothbrushes were also provided.
I had the Togakushi specialty soba kaiseki cuisine. The food is delicious and filling, satisfying both my stomach and my heart.
